Yorkeys
Knob Beach is widely regarded as one of the best beaches
in Tropical North Queensland. Over 1 mile of clean soft golden
sand. Fabulous for those romantic walks or an energetic morning
jog. The beach which is secluded and untouched with an abundance
of bird and plant life is embraced at the southern end by
a quiet tranquil tidal river.
The northern end is a little livelier, with a café,
small shop/newsagent, playground, barbeques and a seasonal
swimming enclosure which is patrolled by a lifeguard.
If your swimming preference is freshwater “Pacific
Penthouse’ has a lap pool for your enjoyment and convenience.
Wine and dine at one of the restaurants located at one of
Cairns
best hidden holiday secrets, Yorkeys Knob. The
Yorkeys Knob Boat Club & Marina offers not only dining
but various sailing and diving trips to the Great Barrier
Reef.
The Half Moon Bay golf Course, just 3 minutes drive from
the apartment, is sure to be a great holiday pastime for
those golfing enthusiasts. Other nearby attractions include
Skyrail, a Golf driving range, and
Go Kart track. If you are into more active sports, why
not try ‘Kite
surfing’ off the beach. (Lessons are available by
arrangement)
